About Freshman To FI
Who We Are
We’re siblings – a junior (Rae) and a freshman (Anthony) – navigating high school from different points on the same road. Rae is deep in AP classes and college prep, while Anthony is exploring his first year and finding his place. Our challenges differ, but our shared objective is the same: learning financial literacy and personal growth, one step at a time.
Why We’re Here
It seems people wait until after college, or even until their 30s, to start thinking seriously about money and independence. We’d rather start now and bring you along. This blog is where we’ll share what we’re learning: the small wins, awkward failures, and the strategies we’re testing in real life.
What You’ll Find
Lessons and skills that don’t always make it into the classroom – from financial literacy and personal growth to real-world problem-solving.
How We Post
We’ll post monthly, often tag-team style with both our takes on the same topic. School comes first, but this blog is our space to explore ideas beyond the classroom.
Our Goal
To experiment with progress versus perfection and prove that you can start building the life you want while you’re still in school. We’ll share lessons as we go, so we keep moving forward together.
